Ik ben Jonas, aangenaam! Geboren op 5 januari 2000 en momenteel student aan de KU Leuven in de master toegepaste informatica. Mijn interesseveld is redelijk breed, maar technologie en muziek zijn toch enkele uitschieters. Creatief zijn met computers sluit dus mooi aan. I'm Jonas, nice to meet you! Born on January 5, 2000 and currently a student at KU Leuven in Applied Computer Science. My field of interest is fairly broad, but technology and music are some of the highlights. So being creative with computers fits in nicely. Je suis Jonas, enchanté! Né le 5 janvier 2000 et actuellement étudiant chez KU Leuven en informatique appliquée. Mon domaine d'intérêt est assez large, mais la technologie et la musique sont quelques-uns des points forts. Donc être créatif avec les ordinateurs s’intègre parfaitement.

De eerste twee jaartjes heb ik doorgebracht op kOsh Campus Burchtstraat te Herentals, later vervolgde ik mijn middelbaar aan kOsh Campus Collegestraat. The first two years I spent at kOsh Campus Burchtstraat in Herentals, later I continued my secondary education at kOsh Campus Collegestraat. Les deux premières années que j'ai passées au kOsh Campus Burchtstraat à Herentals, j'ai ensuite poursuivi mes études secondaires au kOsh Campus Collegestraat.

In de derde graad heb ik me meer toegelegd op wetenschap. Het Latijn heb ik niet helemaal achter mij gelaten. De schoonheid van deze taal bleef en blijft me nog steeds boeien. Het is nu tijd voor later; de basis wiskunde en wetenschappen moet ik nu verder uitbreiden, opdat ik succesvol mijn verdere studies kan finaliseren. In the third grade I focused more on science. I have not completely left Latin behind me. The beauty of this language never ceased and continues to fascinate me. It is now time for later; I now have to expand the basic mathematics and sciences, so that I can successfully finalize my further studies. En troisième année, je me suis davantage concentré sur la science. Je n'ai pas complètement abandonné le latin. La beauté de cette langue n'a jamais cessé et continue de me fasciner. Il est maintenant temps pour plus tard; Je dois maintenant développer les mathématiques et les sciences de base, afin de pouvoir finaliser avec succès mes études ultérieures.

Sinds 2016 bezig aan een eigen muzikaal project:Working on his own musical project since 2016:Travaillant sur son propre projet musical depuis 2016: The Chalkheads. Dit project heeft me gevormd tot wie ik nu ben, het is een duidelijke mijlpaal in m'n leven.This project has shaped me into who I am today, it is a clear milestone in my life.Ce projet m'a façonné en ce que je suis aujourd'hui, c'est un jalon clair dans ma vie.

Na het secundair continueerde ik mijn wetenschappelijke studie aan KU Leuven, campus Geel. Mijn interesse voor technologie was hier de grote drijfveer. Deze studie bleek later niet helemaal mijn ding: algemeen, theoretisch... Ik wist echter waar mijn passie lag; informatica. After secondary school I continued my scientific studies at KU Leuven, campus Geel. My interest in technology was the main motivation here. This study later turned out not to be my thing: general, theoretical ... However, I knew where my passion lay; Informatics. Après le lycée, j'ai poursuivi mes études scientifiques à la KU Leuven, campus Geel. Mon intérêt pour la technologie était la principale motivation ici. Cette étude s'est avérée ne pas être mon truc: générale, théorique ... Cependant, je savais où était ma passion; Informatique.

Met volle goesting dan terug begonnen; dezelfde campus, andere richting. Het eerste jaar heb ik succesvol afgerond. In het tweede jaar ben ik gestart in de nieuwe keuzerichting Digital Innovation. Deze richting focust zich vooral op projectmatig werken. Zo leerde ik bij elk project de klant zijn idee om te zetten tot een echte toepassing. Then started back with full enthusiasm; same campus, different direction. I successfully completed the first year. In the second year I started in the new choice of Digital Innovation. This direction mainly focuses on project-based work. In each project I learned how to convert the customer's idea into a real application. Alors a commencé en arrière avec plein d'enthousiasme ; même campus, direction différente. J'ai réussi la première année. En deuxième année j'ai débuté dans le nouveau choix de l'Innovation Digitale. Cette direction se concentre principalement sur le travail par projet. Dans chaque projet, j'ai appris à convertir l'idée du client en une application réelle.

Ik ben terechtgekomen bij één van de grootste marketingbedrijven van België: Intracto. Vandaag de dag mogen we spreken over iO, gezien de Intracto Group van naam is veranderd. Mijn taak binnen het bedrijf is een monitoring systeem opzetten en workflows automatiseren op een gebruiksvriendelijke manier. I ended up at one of the largest marketing companies in Belgium: Intracto. Today we can talk about iO, as the Intracto Group has changed its name. My job within the company is to set up a monitoring system and automate workflows in a user-friendly way. Je me suis retrouvé dans l'une des plus grandes sociétés de marketing de Belgique : Intracto. Aujourd'hui on peut parler d'iO puisque le groupe Intracto a changé de nom. Mon travail au sein de l'entreprise consiste à mettre en place un système de surveillance et à automatiser les flux de travail de manière conviviale.

Stage lopen bij een bedrijf dat meedraait met de grote spelers in de marketingwereld voelt aan als een privilege. iO heeft bakken kennis in huis, zowel theoretisch als praktisch. Ik ging aan de slag als “Digital Marketeer” en kreeg de juiste begeleiding op maat. 13 weken lang mocht ik deel uitmaken van het Data & Insights team. Ik liep stage van 28/02/2022 t.e.m. 27/05/2022. Het waren 3 maanden die enorm snel voorbij zijn gegaan. Doing an internship at a company that works alongside the major players in the marketing world feels like a privilege. iO has a wealth of knowledge, both theoretical and practical. I started working as a “Digital Marketeer” and received the right tailor-made guidance. For 13 weeks I was allowed to be part of the Data & Insights team. I did an internship from 28/02/2022 until 27/05/2022. It was 3 months that passed very quickly. Faire un stage dans une entreprise qui côtoie les grands acteurs du monde du marketing est un privilège. iO possède une mine de connaissances, à la fois théoriques et pratiques. J'ai commencé à travailler en tant que "Digital Marketeer" et j'ai reçu les bons conseils sur mesure. Pendant 13 semaines, j'ai été autorisé à faire partie de l'équipe Data & Insights. J'ai effectué un stage du 28/02/2022 jusqu'au 27/05/2022. C'était 3 mois qui sont passés très vite.

Dankzij de studie toegepaste informatica, aan de Thomas More hogeschool in Geel, ben ik helemaal klaargestoomd voor deze opdracht. Het is niet zo dat de informatie me op de schoolbanken één op één is aangeleerd. Wel kreeg ik de tools aangereikt die me in de professionele wereld een eind vooruit helpen. Zelf ben ik enorm geboeid door data, het (legaal) verzamelen ervan en het verwerken en visualiseren. Gelukkig kan ik bij iO naar hartelust bezig zijn met data. Wetende dat data de toekomst is en waarschijnlijk ook dagelijkse kost is/wordt voor ons allemaal, heb ik me voorgenomen meer kennis te vergaren. Thanks to the study applied computer science at the Thomas More University of Applied Sciences in Geel, I am completely prepared for this assignment. It's not that the information was taught to me one-on-one in school. However, I was given the tools that help me move forward in the professional world. I myself am extremely fascinated by data, its (legal) collection, processing and visualisation. Fortunately, at iO I can work with data to my heart's content. Knowing that data is the future and will probably become a daily occurrence for all of us, I decided to gain more knowledge. Grâce à l'étude d'informatique appliquée à l'Université des Sciences Appliquées Thomas More à Geel, je suis parfaitement préparé pour cette mission. Ce n'est pas que l'information m'a été enseignée individuellement à l'école. Cependant, on m'a donné les outils qui m'aident à avancer dans le monde professionnel. Je suis moi-même extrêmement fasciné par les données, leur collecte (juridique), leur traitement et leur visualisation. Heureusement, chez iO, je peux travailler avec des données à ma guise. Sachant que les données sont l'avenir et deviendront probablement un événement quotidien pour nous tous, j'ai décidé d'acquérir plus de connaissances.

De stageopdracht kunnen we onderverdelen in twee grote blokken: monitoring en automatisatie. Hiervoor waren we met 2 stagiairs (Lucas Celen en ikzelf). We hebben samen besloten de handen in elkaar te slaan en elk onderdeel grondig af te werken. Ik ben vooral bezig geweest met: analyse, webdesign, JS, Python, Selenium, optimaliseren, testen en het uitwerken van een geautomatiseerd loggingsysteem. Naast deze opdracht hadden we ook nog klantenwerk dat steeds geëvalueerd werd. We can divide the internship assignment into two large blocks: monitoring and automation. For this we were 2 interns (Lucas Celen and myself). Together we decided to join forces and thoroughly finish each part. I have mainly been involved in: analysis, web design, JS, Python, Selenium, optimizing, testing and developing an automated logging system. In addition to this assignment, we also had customer work that was continuously evaluated. Nous pouvons diviser la mission de stage en deux grands blocs : suivi et automatisation. Pour cela nous étions 2 stagiaires (Lucas Celen et moi-même). Ensemble, nous avons décidé d'unir nos forces et de terminer minutieusement chaque partie. J'ai principalement été impliqué dans : l'analyse, la conception Web, JS, Python, Selenium, l'optimisation, le test et le développement d'un système de journalisation automatisé. En plus de cette mission, nous avions également un travail client qui était évalué en permanence.

    Een tool die alle klantengegevens binnen Google Analytics bij elkaar sprokkelt. Het is mogelijk een csv-export te maken van deze gegevens. De werknemers van iO gebruiken dit al en het kan uitgebreid worden naar de andere campussen. A tool that collects all customer data within Google Analytics. It is possible to make a CSV export of this data. The employees of iO are already using this and it can be extended to the other campuses. Un outil qui collecte toutes les données client dans Google Analytics. Il est possible de faire un export CSV de ces données. Les collaborateurs d'iO l'utilisent déjà et peuvent être étendus aux autres campus.

  • iOtomation

    Onze mentor was al onder de indruk van iOmonitoring, maar er was nog tijd genoeg. Binnen het Data & Insights team gaat er binnenkort een hoop Google Analytics 4 (GA4) setups binnenkomen. De oude versie van Google Analytics zal niet meer ondersteund worden. Om deze werklast te verlichten hebben wij een tool gemaakt die automatisch GA4-setups doet. Our mentor was already impressed by iOmonitoring, but there was still plenty of time. A lot of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) setups will soon be arriving within the Data & Insights team. The old version of Google Analytics will no longer be supported. To ease this workload, we have created a tool that automatically does GA4 setups. Notre mentor était déjà impressionné par iOmonitoring, mais il restait encore beaucoup de temps. De nombreuses configurations Google Analytics 4 (GA4) arriveront bientôt au sein de l'équipe Data & Insights. L'ancienne version de Google Analytics ne sera plus prise en charge. Pour alléger cette charge de travail, nous avons créé un outil qui effectue automatiquement les configurations GA4.

De piano hebben we namelijk gered van de afvalberg...Processing and managing waste remains a challenge for the future. The Chalkheads draait voornamelijk op mijn management; mailverkeer, aankondigingen, social media, Sabam, VZW-administratie en contractjes opstellen zijn enkele voorbeelden.     Het klinkt heel eenvoudig, maar dat is het niet altijd. Zeker als groep is het belangrijk dat iedereen zijn verhaal kwijt kan over iets of iemand. De band staat of valt, samen.It sounds very simple, but it is not always. Especially as a group it is important that everyone can tell their story about something or someone. The band stands or falls together.Cela semble très simple, mais ce n'est pas toujours le cas. Surtout en tant que groupe, il est important que chacun puisse raconter son histoire à propos de quelque chose ou de quelqu'un. Le groupe se tient debout ou tombe ensemble.

    Op en naast het podium zijn we een hechte groep, maar er moet natuurlijk ook "gewerkt" worden. We repeteren op een vast moment door de week, eventueel aangevuld met een extra repetitie.We are a close-knit group on and off the stage, but of course we also have to "work". ICE Honours

In het laatste jaar aan Thomas More Geel besloot ik deel uit te maken van ICE Honours. De drijvende kracht achter dit programma is ICE Cube. ICE staat voor: Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship. Laat dat nu net de waarden zijn die ik wil meedragen tijdens dit avontuur en mijn verdere leven! In my last year at Thomas More Geel I decided to be part of ICE Honors. The driving force behind this program is ICE Cube. ICE stands for: Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship. These are precisely the values that I want to carry with me during this adventure and my future life! Au cours de ma dernière année à Thomas More Geel, j'ai décidé de faire partie du programme ICE Honors. Le moteur de ce programme est ICE Cube. ICE signifie : Innovation, Créativité et Entrepreneuriat. Ce sont justement les valeurs que je souhaite porter avec moi durant cette aventure et ma vie future !

Mijn incompetentie My incompetence Mon incompétence

Ik ben van nature een doelgerichte werker en soms zeer perfectionistisch. Dit zorgt ervoor dat ik soms te lang stilsta bij banale dingen, maar steeds wel streef naar het allerbeste. I am by nature a goal-oriented worker and sometimes very perfectionist. This means that I sometimes dwell too long on banal things, but I always strive for the very best. Je suis par nature un travailleur orienté vers les objectifs et parfois très perfectionniste. Cela signifie que je m'attarde parfois trop longtemps sur des choses banales, mais je recherche toujours le meilleur.
